The CBC (complete blood cell) count reveals infection, inflammation, anemia, and blood parasites. Blood chemistries reveal any trouble with internal organ function, including the liver and kidneys. Doing early disease blood screenings will establish a baseline for your pet and can reveal problems well before physical symptoms manifest.
